Access Fraser Speech, Occupational,
Physical Therapy & More
Children enrolled in Fraser School®’s Childcare & Preschool Center who need extra supports may receive services from Fraser Rehabilitation staff for speech, occupational therapy, and feeding therapy, up to 2 days per week.
- Speech-Language Therapy for children focuses on helping them develop effective ways to communicate their wants, needs, feelings, and thoughts. This option also helps expand a child’s interest and ability to eat a variety of foods.
- Occupational Therapy for children works on skills can that help them participate in their daily activities, like dressing, holding utensils, and hand-eye coordination.
- Physical Therapy helps children gain strength and skills for range of motion, walking, coordination, and balance.
- Your child may also be identified for additional therapies for autism, mental/behavioral health, or disability issues.
Feeding Therapy can help develop a child’s ability to eat a variety of food by strengthening mouth, tongue, and swallowing muscles.
Occupational Therapy can help children strengthen their hand-eye coordination and grip.
Physical Therapy can help children build core strength, coordination, and balance.
Speech-Language Therapy can help nonverbal children develop effective ways to communicate their wants, needs, feelings, and thoughts.
