In 1935, Louise Whitbeck Fraser opened a school for children with special needs in her Minneapolis home. As attendance swelled, space became an issue. Louise raised money to purchase a former machine shop on 63rd Street and Penn Avenue in Richfield. The three-room building with an adjacent playground opened in the fall of 1949.
Over the years, the Richfield location has remained an anchor for Fraser, while the campus has grown and expanded. Fraser School® is now an inclusive preschool for children of all abilities to learn, play and grow together. The school was recently renovated with new play equipment for the gym and improved accessibility.
The clinic provides autism, mental health and pediatric therapy services to children, adolescents and teens. With its variety of care options, your family can receive multiple services in one location. This saves you the stress and time of driving your kids between multiple providers.
“Fraser is more than just a service provider. We look at all areas of a client’s life and provide multi-faceted support that meets each individual’s and family’s unique needs.”
